Dr Rob Edwards presents
Mobile Network Technologies and Propagation
Loughborough University.
Selected Topics.
1G/2G/3G/4G and Radio Measurements for Mobile Communications.
One of the most exciting areas of research across the world is Mobile communications. We love to talk. This series on mini lectures will cover four generations of mobile communications and explain how radio measurements can be carried out in tropical countries.
Dr Edwards is responsible for setting up and maintaining strategic partnerships in China for the School of Mechanical, Electrical and Manufacturing Engineering. He is also programme director for Masters Degrees in Mobile Communications, Telecommunications and Digital Communications Systems.
He is an expert in Mobile Communications, Radio Frequency Radiation in Humans.
And Antennas and Propagation. His teaching areas are Mobile Communications, Signals and Systems, Electronics, Radiated and Guided Waves, Antenna Theory, Multimedia Systems, Internetworking and Mobility.
He is a visiting professor at Xidian University and Director of the 5G Research Centre in the UK.
